Ruben Studdard is "Sorry for 2004," but "American Idol" should probably be sorry for every year after that.
In recent seasons, ratings for the Fox staple have completely tanked, so it's not surprising that people didn't have much to say when Jimmy Kimmel sent a camera crew out to ask about the finale.
That's right, people. "American Idol" just aired its finale. Don't worry if you had no idea. Kimmel's crew easily convinced a bunch of pedestrians that alleged murderer Robert Durst was in the finals. And to be perfectly honest, who knows? Maybe he was.
