"THE HUNT" is Uganda's First SCI FI Film

The hunt is a sci-fi film made by Unbound Media, a new film company in Uganda. The story kicks off when a mysterious man calls in a bounty hunter to capture an escaped convict. The battle is fierce and at the end the convict is defeated but escapes. The relationship between the mysterious man and the convict starts to be revealed.

The hunt is the first of what could be a series of films entitled “There is more than one of us” and serves to introduce the main characters, it’s a short film, only six minutes and as you can imagine gets straight to the point.

"We the members of Unbound took this movie as a chance to show that it is possible for Ugandan film to do more than drama and comedy. We used a budget of almost zero to produce it, all we invested was six months of time and effort to pull it off. And this is just the beginning, with a full budget Unbound media aims to cater for the sci-fi, explosion loving, wide eyed people in Uganda and abroad. The second installment called “The Hunted” will go into production by the end of the year. We appreciate all the support we have been given and will not disappoint in future ventures."
