Swangz Avenue boss Julius Kyazze has been the President of the Uganda Musicians Association for less than a year.
Kyazze has decided to ended his partnership with the association for yet to be identified reasons.
The Swangz Avenue boss made the major announcement of his intent to resign from presidency at the end of the month through one of his social media platforms where he posted,
"Today I stepped down as Chairman of The Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) effective 1st October.
Offering leadership to some of Uganda’s most talented men and women will forever be one of my fondest experiences. Unfortunately personal commitments have robbed me of time to serve the association to the best of my ability.
I have left UMA in solid hands and I will stay an active proud member.

Despite his intent to resign from the Associaton's presidency, Julius Kyazze insists that he will still be a member of this body that unites all musicians in the country.
It should be noted that members of the association have been conflicting over different interests, something that could have been the cause of Julius's resignation.
