A lot has happened to Ugandan music industry and a lot is yet to happen. we ‘ve heard and witnessed artists fighting each other, Dj’s picking up fights with artists over just a simple thing, getting the music to the fans the proper way. Well that makes the whole game unprofessional.
Pallaso on the other hand , wants to set some things straight and get the message home and this particularly is for Dj’s, artists and anybody who plays a big role in music distribution as far as professionalism is concerned.
Pallaso took it to social media and expressed his opinion saying
Pick a leaf fellow artists as much as you want everybody to respect your Job as a musician you should be able to be ready to respect everybody Job !!! Being a Dj is one Job we artists need to respect for we need each other in this fast growing industry !! Artists need to stop thinking that the Dj is there to entertain them by playing there music.. NO SIR /MADDAM the Djs Job is to entertain the fans by playing good music and your Job as an artist towards the DJ is supplying good music and trust me it will be played. Im advising all you my fellow artists not to make this mistake and let the DJs do their Job respectfully .. Forcing a Dj to play your song is almost the same thing if reversed like the Dj forcing you to sing a song on stage that makes him happy but bores the fans !! The industry is growing so fast and every career is starting to be considered professional plus to gain respect ya gotta be willing to give it !!! Let the Dj be the Dj !! I wanna apologize on behalf of my fellow artists to the whole entire DJ community all over the world to what happened to the poor DJ Roja.. ,
Hope this will help put an end to who should be on top of who when it comes to music distribution and airplay.
At the end of the day everybody wins if we learn to appreciate and respect what role every party plays to see to it that funs access your music.
