Musician King Saha announced a concert set to take place on the 24th of January next year.
Saha also revealed that the concert will be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
However, following his criticism of the government and its policies, various people have expressed concerns about the concert's likelihood of taking place.
Many believe the government may try to block the event.
The "Ebiseera Ebyo" hitmaker, however, says the event will go on as planned because he is complying with the law.
"No one can stop the concert from happening. I have obtained all the required permissions, and I am doing everything in accordance with the law. There's no reason why my concert should be blocked, and I am very confident it will be a success," he said in an interview with a local television station.
King Saha says the concert will be a celebration of his music and a tribute to the fans who have supported him from the beginning.
