Musician Azawi and National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, share a similar background rooted in the Ghetto, which has shaped their successful lives.
Like Bobi Wine, Azawi has recently taken a stand against injustices and inequality in society.
Azawi has revealed that she shares the same beliefs as Bobi Wine and that they perceive life in the same way.
The Swangz Avenue singer, however, clarified that she is not affiliated with Bobi Wine's National Unity Platform (NUP) and was never directed by its President to question the government.
"I don't want to say I am affiliated with Bobi Wine, but we have a common understanding of life. He and I see life the same way, and we share similar beliefs, but he has never sent me to question injustices," she explained in an interview with a local television station.
