Musician and songwriter Fyno has been in the industry for over five years. He is well-known for his songwriting, which is what most people associate him with.
However, the singer recently achieved a breakthrough with his single "Che Che," which has become popular on social media and various music charts.
Fyno revealed that in the past, he dedicated more time to writing songs for other artists, neglecting his own career. This is no longer the case.
"I have mostly been focused on songwriting for others and didn’t give myself enough time for everything else, but this time, I decided to dedicate more time to my own music," he explained in an interview with NTV the beat.
Fyno also revealed that he switched from dancehall to lyrical music, a change that has brought him success. Since making the switch, he has garnered a growing fanbase.
He chose to focus on lyrical music because it resonated with people and earned him widespread appreciation.
"I think shifting from dancehall to lyrical music is what changed my luck this time. Looking back at the tracks that received the most love, like 'Ononozaki,' I realized that style really connected with people, so I decided to focus on that, and to my surprise, people started picking it up," he added.
Fyno says "Che Che" is just the beginning of his burgeoning music career, and that even the sky is not the limit for him.
