They say politics is a dangerous game, to be in it, you have to be with big balls! And apparently, singer Bobi Wine believes he has small size!
Recently, the singer came out and confessed why he is so silent on politics. Bobi Wine revealed because “it’s the safest way to live today.” .
Here is a full statement:
Yes I am silent on politics … today but I am very much aware that ONE DAY as the rulers will be accounting for what they did, some of us will be apologizing for what we never did. Am sure that in the end, people will remember not only the words of their oppressors but the silence of their friends too.
Meanwhile, a few months back, reports surfaced that after other artistes were busy with the Tubonga Nawe a song they did to shower President Museveni with praises, Ghetto President Bobi Wine decided to join Kizza Besigye’s camp a competitor with Museveni for the presidency of the Republic of Uganda.
