The executive Director Uganda National Roads Authority, UNRA has commissioned 40 trucks for road maintenance works.
According to Allen Kagina, these vehicles including the 60 that are coming will be spread around the country. She also explained that each truck is approximately $65,000 with taxes paid.
Kagina explained that the authority is continuing to build equipment capacity with an objective of ensuring that each of the 23 service stations is fully equipped with at least four tippers.
The commissioning was at the UNRA Mpigi service station this morning.
