It looks like one of the most talked-about 'will-they-won't-they' friendships in the music industry has officially been salvaged! Chozen Blood himself has confirmed that he and the 'Fire Baby' Winnie Nwagi have finally called a truce and reconciled after years of radio silence that had everyone whispering about a romantic relationship gone wrong.
Their frosty relationship first grabbed headlines last year when a very telling audio clip leaked online. In the emotional recording, Nwagi could be heard clearly frustrated, venting about Chozen Blood allegedly ignoring her calls. The tension was palpable as she declared she was ready to back off if he couldn't make up his mind about... well, whatever was going on between them!
Despite both artists repeatedly shutting down rumours of any romantic involvement, the awkwardness and undeniable strain between them were hard to miss, culminating in what seemed like a complete communication blackout until very recently.
But put those rumours to rest! Speaking in a recent interview on NRG Radio, a candid Chozen Blood spilled the tea, revealing that the musical pair have indeed patched things up.
"A few days ago, we just reconciled with my friend," Chozen shared. "It has been a minute since we were working on that, and I should admit that true friends annoy each other for real."
Chozen went on to offer a little more insight, explaining that personal challenges he was facing at the time had caused him to pull back from many people in his life, not just Nwagi. He insisted that all that negativity is now firmly in the past.
Confirming the peace treaty, he added with a hint of relief, "She unblocked me on social media and direct calls. She also missed me. We needed to put down the blame game, and we apologised to each other."
