Former Woman Member of Parliament for Kisoro Eudia Kwizera, is dead. Kwizera died at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala this morning. She served as the Kisoro district Woman Member of Parliament for five years.
The member of the ruling National Resistance Movement-NRM party, lost her parliamentary seat to Sarah Mateke Nyirabashitsi in 2011.
Miriam Tumuheirwe Katabariza, a sister to the deceased confirmed the news of her demise but did not divulge details on the cause of her death. The deceased is a resident of Rubuguri in Kirundo Sub County Kisoro district. She has been operating a private business in Kampala. She is also a member of the Executive Board of African Queens and Women Cultural Leaders Network (AQWCLN).
