Serving police officers have been urged to emulate John Kisembo, the former Inspector General of Police-IGP Who passed on mid this week.
The call was made by Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Jeje Odongo who said Kisembo was a highly professional officer who mentored and attracted many people to join and serve in the police force, where he also took on a role as a strong advocate for peace.
The minister was addressing mourners at the deceased’s ancestral home in Kitema Village, Kagadi district where he was laid to rest this evening. Kisembo succumbed to lung cancer.
