The National Carrier Uganda National Airlines Company Limited is set to fly 10 destinations before end of 2019 as per the directive of government.
The Airline which this week launched its sixth and seventh destinations has had a great start with many a people believing if well managed, it could take over as best Airline in the region.
On Monday and Wednesday, Uganda Airlines made its maiden flight to Mombasa and Kilimanjaro respectively. They will be flying these routes three times a week, on Monday, Friday and Sunday.
During both launches, Paul Turacayisenga the Director Finance, who spoke on behalf of Uganda Airlines CEO, promised a great customer service of comfort and timely flights.
He further promised that as per the performance of these routes would determine whether they increase the frequency.
The Airline is also expected to launch the Zanzibar route on December 1st this year. They also expect to fly Lusaka Zambia and Harare Zimbabwe by end of the year.
Uganda Airlines will then launch flights to Kinshasa in February 2020. Johannesburg among other routes will follow.
