The family of former Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairman, late Med Kaggwa has announced that he will be laid to rest tomorrow Thursday at his ancestral home in Mpami in Mawokota in Mpigi district.
Kaggwa died this morning after a heart attack on his was to work. According to the family, a good samaritan rushed the deceased to Case clinic after they found him lying unconscious in his vehicle.
The late Kaggwa had just left his home along Mawanda Road in Kamwokya for a meeting in town when he collapsed at Mulago roundabout.
According to Eng. Badru Kiggundu the former Electoral Commission Chairperson and member of the deceased’s family, burial will be held tomorrow. Kiggundu confirmed that the deceased indeed had a history of hypertension.
According to a postmortem report issued by Case Clinic and seen by our reporter, Kaggwa died of hypertension.
