Uganda has 15 new confirmed COVID19, bringing the total to 522.
The 15 cases confirmed on 3rd June, are from 4 truck drivers who arrived from Tanazania via Mutukula, 2 truck drivers from Busia and 9 are among alerts and contacts to previously confirmed cases.
A statement released by the ministry of health this morning indicates that the 9 cases from alerts and contacts include; 3 from Amuru, 2 from Kyotera, 1 from Buikwe, 1 from Nakaseke, 1 from Lira and 1 from Kampala districts.
Meanwhile, 33 foreign truck drivers tested positive and were handed over to their countries.
Currently, Uganda has 522 confirmed Coronavirus cases, 82 recoveries and 0 deaths.
All cases are being handled at 15 referral hospitals across the country.
