Police in Kabale have arrested over 41 people during Monday night operations for defying the presidential directives and MOH guidelines in Kabale Township.
Elly Maate the Kigezi regional police spokesperson says the joint operation was carried out during the night to fight both covert and overt crimes that occur during curfew hours.
People should remain vigilant and comply with the preventive measures and standard operating procedures to end Covid 19.
The 41 will be charged with disobedience of presidential directives against Covid 19 and doing an act likely to spread infectious diseases which operations will continue.
