The head of mobilization for National Unity Platform, Fred Nyanzi Sentamu, has ordered his son, Church Hill Sentamu, to resign from the leadership of Makerere University.
Nyanzi explained that his son was tricked by President Museveni's agents to pose for a picture with him, causing harm to Ugandans.
He says his son's actions are regretful, and he should only be exonerated by a public apology and resignation from the position.
"It's a very terrible thing and very regretful. President Yoweri Museveni has done the worst things to us as a family. He almost killed me and your uncle, Bobi Wine. You should apologise publicly to the nation and resign from the leadership of the University," he explained.
Chairman Nyanzi Sentamu is currently receiving treatment in the United States of America after claims of being beaten by state agents following his arrest last month.
His comments come after Church Hill Sentamu posed with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni following his visit to Makerere University this Tuesday.
