The police in Masindi are searching for a driver of vehicle registration number UBH 831A a Fuso lorry that was involved in a head on accident with the vehicle of Resident Judge, Justice Paul Gadenya along the Kampala-Masindi highway.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says the Fuso driver is currently on the run and investigations into the cause of the accident which occurred on Monday Morning at around 9:30AM in Bigando Cell Kuguliya division Masindi Municipality Masindi district have commenced.
Gadenya was traveling with his driver and body guard corporal Oscar Opok who also sustained injuries and they were all rushed to Kitara Medical Center in Masindi town for Medical attention.
The head-on collision involved the Judge’s official car Registration Number UG0781J Pajero and the Fuso lorry UBH 831A.
According to Hakiza, both vehicles were towed to Masindi Central police station as they hunt for the other driver and try to ascertain the cause of accident.
