Police are searching for unknown thugs who raided Kiryanjagi trading center in Kabamba Sub County in Kagadi district killing a woman.
The deceased has been identified as Omuhereza Nassy wife to Omuhereza Naku who was killed by machete-wielding thugs who invaded her home.
The thugs also hacked two children in the same family living them in critical condition. The children are nursing machete wounds at St Ambrose medical center in Kagadi town.
The attack happened around 10 pm on Wednesday night.
According to Julius Hakiza the Albertine Region police spokesperson, police investigations into the attack have commenced to establish the motive behind the attack.
Hakiza says that by the time police was notified about the attack, it was too late to pursue the thugs since they had fled the scene.
The deceased’s body is lying at Kagadi General Hospital pending postmortem.
