Officers at Jinja Road Police station are investigating a fire outbreak that happened at Naguru II Parish, Naguru Go down, Nakawa division, Kampala.

According to SSP Onyango Patrick, reports indicate that the fire started at about 0330 hours at ROKA parking yard housing cars and motorcycles.

The parking belongs to a woman only identified as Christine and it is managed by Swaib Magala.

Properties including 24 motorcycles, two  tri-cycles, and two cars with registration numbers UBL 935G land cruiser and UAR 088T Alex were completely burnt.

Police responded with two fire brigade trucks and rescued some vehicles from getting burnt. 

Onyango says that the fire started from a small grass-thatched house where the Boda Boda park.
