The Inspector General of Police, General Kale Kayihura has ordered for the transfer and appointment of gazette officers to take over new offices for purpose of ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in performance of police duties and promotion of community policing, countering violent crimes with in the country.
He has appointed AIGP Byakagaba Abas substantive commander KMP. SCP Wafuba Ahmed is appointed as commander oil and gas.
CP Namaya Benjamin who has been acting commander KMP is given special duties in the directorate of HRD.
Details are to be communicated later. This order takes immediate effect. Director HRA to organize the handing and taking over process.
