Forum for Democratic Presidential Candidate Col Kizza Besigye has earned yet more sympathetic votes after he suspended his campaign for over an hour to rush a dying man to Kiboga Hospital following a nasty road accident on Thursday.
According to Besigye’s aides, the unidentified man was found in critical condition after the accident in Kiboga town after a head on collision involving two bodabodas. FDC posted on its social media that, a medical doctor by training, Dr. Besigye ordered his drivers to rush the injured to the nearest hospital.
According to the post, Besigye beat security to greet health workers who rushed to catch a moment with him. Dr. Besigye stayed at the facility until the man was given first aid.
