Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago is in Singapore to participate in a 5-day Annual World Cities Summit /Mayors' Forum 2016.
This year's Summit will focus on ''Innovative Cities of Opportunities '' under the broad theme; ''Liveable and Sustainable Cities''.
The summit kicked off on Sunday July 10th.
The World Cities Summit Mayors Forum is an annual by-invitation only global event for city leaders to discuss pressing urban issues and share best practices with one another.
The peer-to-peer platform invites mayors and senior leaders from international organizations and the industry to exchange experiences in developing integrated urban solutions, building economic and environmental resilience, engaging with communities and sustaining a high quality of life in urban regions.
The 2 sessions of the Mayors Forum 2016 will address the innovations and changes city leaders are implementing in their cities, and then, how these are managed.

This is Lukwago’s first international trip as a Lord Mayor of Kampala.
