Newly elected Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine is set to be sworn in next Tuesday, July 11th.
The development follows Kyagulanyi’s landslide win in the recently concluded election that saw him beat four other contestants hands down.
Bobi Wine polled 25, 659 votes, followed by NRM’s Sitenda Sebalu who polled 4,556, then FDC’s Apollo Kantinti who scored 1,832, Nkunyingi Muwada got 575, while Mr Sowed Kayongo Male came last with 377 votes.
According to Kyagulanyi, his camp is ready to take oath.
“Tuli eno tulowooleza Ggwanga lyattu Uganda. Mean while the swearing in has been slated for Tuesday 11th July 2017 (next week) at the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda. Don't forget to carry your Uganda flag” he wrote on his facebook platform
