As boda-boda men are busy killing prominent people in Uganda, there is a section of Ugandans that is gaining from them. Women especially corporate that don’t own cars have these men on their speed dial.
These guys are always available to provide quick services to them. With all Ubers around, these women trust their boda men.
These boda men are too smart and always know what these women want. When these women go out, the boda men always know their location and the time they leave the bar.
A survey made by Howwebiz team has come to a conclusion that every town corporate woman who doesn’t own a car has boda guy. These boda men normally stay in the area code where these women live.
These guys can enter these women houses at any given time as they make them feel so secure. Some of these boda men are paid salary and some even don’t demand the salary since they have a mutual friendship. They are always there for their clients because they are paid well and are satisfied with their bosses.
We trust these boda guys than our men- corporate women
The question we asked during our survey is; why they trust these boda guys. Some women revealed that they trusted these guys more than their men. “My boda guy can’t let me down. Sometimes when I call my man to pick me, he pretends to be busy or sometimes he ignores me. The reason I have a boda guy,” says Anita who works with a bank on Kampala Road.
She added,” They are good listeners and even when we drink ourselves silly, they take good care of us”.
Boda men are ROMANTIC - women
When we asked if they risked being raped by these boda men, women confessed that these guys are somehow ROMANTIC and trustworthy. Despite their dress code and job type, they are good men more than the learned ones. They know how to take care of women. Every woman wants a man who is always there for her and most learned men don’t have time for their women.
They Keep secrets For most Families
We talked to some boda men around Ntinda, Kiwatule and Muyenga stage, and these guys speak the same language. They told us that some no longer rush or hustle hard to make money. They know at every end of the month they have money from Corporate women coming in.
Secondly, most boda guys we met say that they have kept business moving with these women simply because they know how to keep the secrets of these women. These women use them to play their games. In the end, they get to trust them.
