Musician John Blaq parted ways with his former management, Black Magic Records a month ago over mismanagement of his finances.
Prior to separation, John Blaq’s social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and music distribution platform Distrokid were controlled by his managers. When they disagreed, they denied him access.
Luckily, the “Do Dat” hitmaker managed to retrieve the accounts except YouTube that is still under the custody of the Black Magic Records.
John Blaq opened up saying his former management demanded Shs 50M to surrender passwords to his social media accounts. “Management demanded 50M from me if I wanted my accounts back. I did not give it to them but thank God we came to an agreement,” John Blaq said during an interview.
The star is currently under no management.
