Media personality Katongole Omutongole explains that he couldn't secure a NUP ticket last year because he didn't have money. It was very hard to get a ticket if you didn't have money.
The party secretariat believed he couldn't sponsor the campaigns.
He says the party registrars connived with some candidates to manipulate voters’ registers.
He also adds that several members of the secretariat are corrupt. They accepted bribes and sold cards to party members who didn't qualify to have them.
Omutongole, however, pledges to continue supporting NUP despite being denied the ticket twice.
