Buchaman and Bobi Wine were once close friends and collaborators, but they fell out over a decade ago due to jealousy and money. Buchaman left the Firebase Crew and went solo, but his career floundered.
Now, Buchaman says he is ready to reconcile with Bobi Wine. In a live video on Facebook, he said, "I am just waiting for the call up from his camp and I will go back and we work together. I really respect him and very ready to work with him for a better future. Bobi Wine is my friend."
Buchaman also denounced the ruling NRM party, saying he only joined it for financial benefits. He said he is now ready to join the National Unity Platform (NUP), which is led by Bobi Wine.
It remains to be seen whether Bobi Wine will accept Buchaman's overtures, but the gesture is a sign that Buchaman is serious about reconciling with his former friend.
