Singer Desire Luzinda, and her 19-year-old daughter, Michelle Heather Kaddu, arrived in Uganda on Wednesday, August 2. Desire, who is now a Born-Again Christian, revealed that they came to participate in Phaneroo Ministries' ninth-anniversary celebration on Saturday, August 5.
During a media interaction, journalists inquired about Michelle's romantic life and asked if she was dating Abba Marcus, singer Jose Chameleone's son. This question seemed to unsettle Desire, who struggled to respond initially.
After regaining her composure, Desire explained that she doesn't consider Abba and Michelle to be dating because they are still young children. She emphasized that society should embrace the idea that males and females can be friends without assuming a romantic relationship.
Desire made it clear that she views their relationship as a friendship, and she wouldn't speak about it in any other context to protect both teenagers.
Since September 2022, rumors about Michelle dating Abba Marcus have persisted, particularly after a picture of them together in a cozy position appeared on Snapchat.
