Buchaman was the vice president to Bobi Wine in the Firebase Crew at the time Kenzo joined the Kamwokya-based group.

Buchaman's opinion on Firebase is always respected because he was involved in many aspects of the group.

Following Kenzo's claims that Bobi Wine plagiarised some of his songs, Buchaman has come out to dismiss these allegations, saying the NUP President never copied his music.

He insisted that Bobi Wine's song "Promise" was inspired by his wife Barbie for the good things she did for him and the success they had achieved together.

Buchaman adds that Bobi Wine initially recorded a reggae version of the song, but it was not well received by his fans, so he re-recorded a slower version.

"He never copied Kenzo's songs because, for 'Promise,' he first did a reggae version, and when people didn’t embrace it much, he switched to a slow version. He didn’t get ideas from Kenzo’s songs. 'Promise' is an inspiration from Barbie, and that song was dedicated to her because of the sacrifices she made for him," he partly said in an interview.

Buchaman believes Kenzo left Firebase because he had become famous.
