Musician Jose Chameleone was admitted to Nakasero Hospital last week, where he remains to this day.
According to his son, Abba Marcus, Chameleone is battling acute pancreatitis, a condition caused by repeated and uncontrolled alcoholism.
Latest reports indicate that USA-based socialite and Chameleone's personal friend, Juliet Zawedde, has offered to fly the singer out of Uganda for further treatment and management.
It is alleged that she will sponsor his journey to the USA and cover part of the hospital bills.
Juliet Zawedde reportedly visited Chameleone at the hospital on Monday this week.
