The Vice Chairperson of the Patriotic League of Uganda, Frank Gashumba, has raised controversy after calling upon Baganda to stick to business and leave politics for other people.
In an interview with a local radio station, Gashumba explained that Baganda are so good at business, and it is something they should focus on.
He believes they are not talented politically, and those in politics are there for survival, but it is not something they can effectively manage.
"Politics is not a calling for Baganda. I advise them to stick to business," he partly said.
Frank Gashumba's comments have since sparked controversy among social media users who believe he has no right to determine those who participate in the politics of this country.
Gashumba is one of the most outspoken media and political commentators, always sparking debate on different topics in the public.
