Star player of the national team of Uganda Farouk Miya has joined the club Standard de Liège playing major league Belgium .
The club currently lies eighth in the league .
Miya has been playing club Vipers Sports Club.
Initial reports have revealed that the two clubs had agreed to transfer its letter of USD 400,000 while still playing Cup champion nation African domestic league players in Rwanda last month .
Miya , 19 , he scored a penalty Uganda and helped the installation of a second goal in their opening match CHAN which drew 2-2 with Mali.
However , he can not play against Zambia as a precaution after the interruption to his shoulder.
