Serie A champions Juventus are preparing a £10m offer for 31-year-old Manchester United forward Robin van Persie. (Daily Star) 

Chelsea are lining up a £30m offer for Napoli's Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain, 27. (Sun - subscription required) 

West Ham United hope to appoint their former defender and ex-Croatia manager, Slaven Bilic, 46, as their new boss this week. (London Evening Standard). 

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will move for Porto's Colombia forward Jackson Martinez, 28, if he can offload Lukas Podolski, among others. (Daily Mirror)  

Wenger is also keen on Sevilla and Poland midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, 25, who has a £21m buyout clause in his contract. (Times - subscription)
