10 patients have Monday afternoon been discharged from Entebbe Grade B hospital following their recovery from CoronaVirus. 

ten include five Watoto children choir members, their three caretakers, 1 boda boda rider from Kasubi and 1 other person from Kalangala. 

However, the patient from Kalangala will go home tomorrow, after the community has been oriented and sensitized.

Today’s discharge ceremony was amid tears of joy as both the recovered patients and their doctors celebrated, praising God for healing them. 

The state minister for Primary Healthcare Dr. Joyce Moriku Kaducu presided over today’s ceremony. The 10 people join 28 others that have been discharged in the last two weeks. 

The number of COVID-19 cases in Uganda stands at 55, with all new cases being of truck drivers from neighboring countries of Kenya and Tanzania, who are repatriated.

Uganda has not registered any deaths related to COVID-19, a disease that has claimed 167,953 as of Monday afternoon.
