Earlier this year, the State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Balaam Barugahara, presented Pretty Nicole and announced he was going to cater to her school fees and other requirements.
Balaam also stated he had secured a Canadian invitation and visa for Pretty Nicole to study and be rehabilitated.
Pretty Nicole now says Balaam was just playing politics and never intended to fulfill any of the promises he made. She explained that different people are covering her school expenses, not the minister.
"Hon. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi wasn’t the one paying my school fees. Maybe he was excited for me that I had accepted the offer to return to school, so he felt like giving me a hand. I don’t know anything about the ambassadorial role that Hon. Balaam had proposed for me, but he hasn’t fulfilled anything he promised, unless they come later in the future. Maybe it was propaganda, but I am yet to see anything materialize. I think it was politics, and I am not a fan of politics. So, I don’t want to be appointed," she explained.
Pretty Nicole, however, remains hopeful and says Balaam might one day fulfill his promises.
Nicole also says she is focused on securing visas to European countries in search of greener pastures.
