Police in Ingobor village in Kenya have arrested a man who beheaded a 22-year-old mother of two after a fight between them on Tuesday, December 6.
According to Mogoon Sub-Location Assistant Chief Josiah Rono the man was working as the deceased’s houseboy. They duo were also said to be having an illicit affair and had fallen out on the fateful day before the 23-year-old man used a machete to chop off her head.
Mr Rono said he received a phone call from a member of Nyumba Kumi Security Initiative on Tuesday 6pm, informing him of the bloody incident. The woman’s husband, a casual labourer, was away from home at the time of the incident. When Chief Rono arrived at the crime scene, he found a bloody machete placed next to the deceased. The administrator ordered the arrest of the suspect who fled after learning that neighbors were coming for him.
He was, however, arrested and is currently being held at Kaptembwo police station. The body of the woman was taken to Nakuru County mortuary.
