The plane crashed in a Namibian national park near the border with Angola and there were no survivors. An investigation into the cause is still underway.
Airlines from Mozambique are among other carriers banned in the European Union because of safety concerns (Kenya Airways is not among them, Wikipedia).
"Overal safety record for Africa remains a problem we must fix," said Tony Tyler, director general and CEO of International Air Transport Assosiation.
