This happened at one of the get together parties in a North London joint in front of friend when the artist pinpointed her boss to act or miss out on this new talent. Its believed that after working with Pro Jay on half of her 2014 album, Fyonna has been impressed with his unique skills of producing music on international standards and adds that is the kind of producer Uganda needs to break that barrier.
WHO IS JAY !!
Jay started production while in secondary school and is famous for being associated with top UK artists and for producing a song that won a Brits Award last year.
The 19-year-old Ugandan has never returned to Uganda since migrating to UK with his family and currently works as a freelance producer with EMI.
He is also well respected in UK-Uganda community and is sometimes nicknamed “Pro Jay Mercedes” due to his love for convertible Mercedes. He has produced 3 and co-produced 2 songs on Fyonna’s 2014 album under ‘Fyima World’.
The ‘Fyima World’ boss who is set for an East African trip that will end in Uganda supported Fyonna’s impression and added, “I agree, the boy is highly skilled and international.

The combination of him with Fyonna could potentially create a new vibe in Ugandan music just as the fusion of Nigerian music with UK funky changed West African music for the better,”. About signing him “He is already part of us and already has a copyright share of projects he made under Fyima World”.
Fyonna Nsubuga previously hinted on an album launch in Kampala this year which means Pro Jay style of music will be fully tested in Kampala this year.
