Pastor Kayanja of Miracle Centre Rubaga is known to be the proprietor of Channel 44, one of the first Christian TV stations following TOP TV.
Having existed for almost 7 years now, it seems like the CEO is in the mood to grow bigger and better by introducing a sister station.
News coming in indicates that Pastor Kayanja is planning on start a new television station that will derive its name from his own name called Robert Kayanja TV.
However the opinion of most people that we have been able to talk to said that Pastor Kayanja would have concentrated on elevating channel 44 than starting a new station when the former is seemingly struggling.
It’s not doubt that 44 is the only television station in Uganda that broadcasts direct from the satellite and therefore would have lived to its standards which has been centrally to what the station is apparently.
However rumor had it that Pastor could be planning on introducing a new station in order to give full powers to channel 44 to be strictly a business channel and then dedicate Robert Kayanja TV for only his preaching.
