For some time now we have been reporting on Ugandan Rapper O.P.U who recently added KobokoBoy to his brand name.
He released the chart topping single “Drink Party” with visuals from award winning video director Shasa Vibes.
After this the rapper went silent musically and started to work on his literacy project code named Project R.I.C (Reading Is Cool) which kept him busy for a good part of the rest of the year , he however managed to release his second single “Arua Girl” Featuring Andy Music.
For a while now the rapper has not been performing with regular artists and at shows as would be expected of an artist. However to stand out the rapper has announced that he will be holding an exclusive event at Club Big Mike’s in up-scale Kololo Acacia on Friday 30th September 2016 for a select group of fans.
The event code named “The Drink Party Series” will be the first installment of a number events that the rapper will be holding to raise funds to support Project R.I.C.The night will be graced by a number of different acts who will light up the night.
Entrance will be free on this night but a number of Ugandan Hip Hop Merchandise will be sold on that night, so come with you wallets steady.
