Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral Kampala is in trouble over 20bn debt that he owes an Israeli company offering satellite services. The unpaid arrears arise from connections to his Channel 44 Station and Miracle.
According to reliable sources, we have learned that in 2015, Pastor Robert Kayanja entered into an agreement with an Israeli company called Spacecom to provide satellite services for his named TV channels. Between January 2015 and February this year, Kayanja was paying his dues well.
For the last 5months, he has failed to pay for the service even after closed meeting with the bosses of Spacecom Company. The company has threatened to switch off the two stations if negotiations fail. The matter is being taken to court.
However, other sources have intimated to us that, Robert Kayanja has been demanding that they revisit the contract that was signed in 2015. He claims that there are certain clauses he doesn't agree with hence failure to pay the said dues.
