In gossip columns, singer Desire Luzinda and Masaka tycoon, Emmanuel Lwasa have been labeled lovers. In interviews, Desire has always claimed that the two are just business partners. However, close pals say the two are lovers.
Reports indicate that two have fallen out. A close friend to Desire says they have not been on good terms since Lwasa shared a picture seated next to singer Juliana Kanyomozi in a plane a few months ago.
Lwasa took a picture without Juliana’s consent and when the picture went viral on social media; Juliana wrote a post on her official Facebook accusing Lwasa of invading her privacy. This was after tabloids started speculating that Juliana and Lwasa were having an affair. This infuriated the soft-spoken singer who brought out all swords to fight Lwasa.
Lwasa’s act was seen as a way of seeking cheap popularity by Desire and since then, their ‘friendship’ became unstable.
An Insider says the last nail in the coffin is when Desire refused to go to Lwasa’s house in Namugongo recently.
“He wanted her to cover over, but Desire turned him down. She is at a phase of her life where she wants to settle down with the right people,” insider revealed.
