At the climax of 2018, Pastor Wilson Bugembe was part of the infamous song ‘engule’ by People Power pressure group leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine that was clearly intended to frustrate President Museveni and his regime.
Shortly after the song was released, the ‘kani’ singer was attacked by the masses for dining with both camps because he had previously worked on election campaign song for President Museveni.
He insisted that his support was for only Bobi Wine not President Museveni.
However, in a twist of things, the Pastor heaped praises on President Museveni during the National Prayer Day that was attended by other religious leaders.
On the same day, the pastor begged President Museveni to visit his church that is under construction in Nansana.
