Earlier this week, the widows of Muhammad Ssegirinya, through their representative Twayira Akandiida, endorsed NUP's Nalukoola for the Kawempe North MP position.
In a televised event, the widows backed Nalukoola and revealed he is the only one capable of fulfilling the agenda of their late husband.
"Nalukoola is the one we are supporting because he is the one endorsed by the party our husband wholeheartedly supported and believed in. He is capable of accomplishing the agenda," Akandiida revealed.
Now, Alex Luwemba Luswa has made serious allegations, accusing Nalukoola of bribing the widows with twenty million Ugandan shillings and buying their support.
"I have been told they were given twenty million for that endorsement, but there were only four of them. Segirinya left nine widows, and the other five are behind me," he added.
Alex Luwemba believes that the family of Muhammad Ssegirinya believes in his candidature and that the few in support of Nalukoola cannot intimidate him into backing off the race.
