Singer Evelyn Lagu has for months been eager to travel to India for a kidney transplant and this has kept her in and out of Ugandan hospitals.
Months back, fundraising drives were held to raise money (250M) for her to be able to go to India.
In an interview, Lagu has revealed how she is about to fly out but worried that the trip could be affected by the new restrictions on travel occasioned by the new COVID-19 wave.
Lagu said she is praying she is cleared to travel because she needs her life for the sake of her child.
