Two months ago, KFM veteran presenter Fredo who had been hosting the Mid Morning show, D’Hook for almost 15 years resigned to concentrate on personal businesses

He was replaced by a relatively young Lynda Ddane who had been co-hosting the breakfast show on Radio City.

Our source in Nation Media has informed us that Flavia Tumusiime was the first choice for the job given her experience.

Flavia Tumusiime, who hosts the AM-PM show on Capital FM for close to a decade was selected by the top bosses to replace Fredo but she turned down the offer even when they were willing to double her current earnings at Kisementi based radio station.

Nation Media bosses wanted to take advantage of her salary increment demands at NTV, a sister station to KFM to force her into switching from Capital FM to KFM in case her demands were to be fulfilled.

This condition forced her to quit NTV since she was not willing to keep earning what she was earning five years ago.

She cited family as one of the reasons for her exit.
