At the climax of 2020, musician Nubian Li alongside other NUP supporters were arrested in Kalangala and sent to Kitalya prison for six months.
They were paraded before the court on numerous occasions only to be released in June 2021 amidst tears of joy from their loved ones.
Soon after release, Nubian Li and other former jailbirds narrated how life was horrible in jail and it broke many hearts.
Tamale Mirundi Jr, a former staunch member of the National Unity Platform(NUP) recently spilled secrets of how Nubian Li received money from the Government while he was still in prison.
Tamale Mirundi Jr made the remarks during an interview with a local TV station.
This comes days after the son of seasoned political analyst Tamale Mirundi ditched NUP for lack of a proper strategy and greed among top leaders.
