Former Vice President Edward Ssekandi had built a reputation as someone who loathes the spotlight until now.

Letitia Nakimbugwe, through her lawyer Jude Mbabali has threatened to sue Edward Ssekandi for attempting to lock her out of the house the two have lived in for 25 years.
She accuses him of trying to take over properties they co-own.

She is asking him to sit with her to resolve the matter amicably before she drags him to courts of law.

In the notice, she says they met at Agripa hotel in Masaka and fell in love and the affair resulted in two children.

They constructed a home together in Nyanama, Wakiso District, and were cohabiting until recently when their love turned sour.

She says that as their affair progressed they decided to buy land and develop it by building rentals from which she got money to look after their two children.

Letitia highlights that she was shocked recently when Ssekandi wrote to tenants notifying them that management of the property had changed to his daughter, Victoria Ssekandi. All properties have for all the years been under the management of Letitia.

She says that Ssekandi also through his law firm asked bailiffs to evict her from their home in Nyanama.

Ssekandi is legally married to Margaret Ssekandi.
