Eddy Kenzo was nominated in the Grammy Awards on Tuesday for a song "Gimme Love" he featured on with singer Matt B.

The singer is satisfied that he made it to the list where it is competing with mega superstars.
He said in an interview that a nomination is a win for him and the Ugandan music industry.
"I say being nominated alone is enough for me. It's a win and I thank the people I worked with on this song, Matt B and his management," he said during a press conference held on Wednesday at Fairway hotel.
Kenzo was nominated under the category of Best Global Music Performance.

He will be battling it out with Nigerian singer, Burna Boy for his song "last last" among other three competitors.
